A SELECTION OF ENGLISH-SPEAKING/NONVERBAL THEATRE FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS!

CPH STAGE is delighted to welcome guests from across the world to experience Danish and International theatre at its best, but we realise that it can be difficult to know where to start! So, to introduce Danish theatre to newcomers to the city, tourists, or simply new theatre-goers, we’re delighted to introduce our CPH STAGE International Theatre Nights and Theatre on Wheels, new for 2016.

Featuring hand-picked performances from our International Programme, you can experience a wealth of theatre, meet other internationals, and even get the chance to join us for exclusive artist talks or group discussions afterwards. It’s the perfect introduction to CPH STAGE!

Whatever you’re into or want to try; dance, contemporary drama, immersive performance art, even a theatre bike tour – we’re sure we’ll have something to tempt you. Below you’ll find the collection of performances that you can peruse and booking details below – so open your diary, open your mind and join us!

To book your place at a performance below, send us an email with your preferred performance to sns@cphstage.com, after which you will receive an email telling you when your tickets are ready to collect.

Note: Please note that at least 10 guests are required to sign up in advance for discounted rates to apply, so please sign up in good time. You will be notified by email should discounted tickets be unavailable.

What better way to see the city than to hop on a bike and join us for a wonderful day of performance? We start at Staldgade 38, with an exhibition of The Museum of Martyrs by Sort-Hvid, before cycling to Teaterøen, just outside the centre of the city, for a 45- minute guided tour by the theatre’s director Peter Kirk followed by the performance M.I.S All Night Long. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

In this truly immersive performance by danskdansk, you’ll be lured to one of the city’s forgotten spas, in a performance that will arouse your curiosity and make you rethink a typical ‘trip to the theatre’.

We hope to hold an artists talk with the cast following the performance, should 10 or more guests sign up.

Post No Bills

In this challenging and thought-provoking solo performance, recognised choreographer Kitt Johnston presents a radical call to view crisis as a creative power for transformation and an opportunity to rethink our existence.

POST NO BILLS has been described as ’a masterpiece within the crisis art of recent years’ (Politiken) and already brought Kitt Johnson several awards.
