TALK: Programming and Touring in a new reality
Wolfgang Hoffmann has experienced many shifts in paradigms throughout his highly considerable international work-praxis – as a dancer, venue director at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as founding director of the Berlin-based agency Aurora nova. He shares his perspectives on touring in a new reality. Unfolding sustainability strategies and different approaches to programming international work.
Reem Allam is Executive Manager and Curator of the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF), Egypt’s largest multidisciplinary art festival. She has been introducing Arab Arts Focus at Edinburgh Festival Fringe – and eloquently navigated in many spheres. She shares her perspectives on programming internationally alongside inventing new ways to create cultural exchange opportunities without travelling an inch.
