VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL DAYS
RISING TOGETHER - FRIDAYCPH STAGE facilitates virtual international days. It is a meeting- and showcaseplatform where colleagues from all over the world meet each other. This is where we continue and start conversations with each other. This is where you get a proper insight into Danish performing arts.
This year takes place in the shadow of COVID19 locking down the world as we know it. How do we seize and navigate in a new reality? What does it mean to work internationally in a post-corona time? . In other words – how do we rise together?
We know that none of you have chosen the performing arts industry to sit tight in front of a screen. Therefore we have been researching, reaching out and let ourselves be inspired by the creativity in different creative industries in order to create a digital meeting- and showcaseplatform.
If you want to be part of the International Visitor’s Programme 2020 – please don’t hesitate to contact us if any questions – Karen Toftegaard, International Producer CPH STAGE, karen@cphstage.com
FRIDAY 29. MAY
Programme via the ZOOM chanels MAIN STAGE and MEETING ROOM: 1.00PM – 7.00PM Cest
1.00PM – 1.45PM: TALK + DISCUSSION: The future of festivals [MAIN STAGE]
Every festival is created to solve a problem. Some are born and rise in political response. Some are empowering a city, a milieu, a particular mindset. Some again are there to make a point, to develop the arts, to bring the arts to people – making a Dionysian experience for a small or huge mass of people. What does the future of festivals look like now? What does programming look like?
