Description
In a village built on red clay soil with saloon, gold mine, railway and church, seven South African actors playes out a western with cowboys and Indians, gold diggers and deadly gunfights. Along with director Tue Biering, the actors dive into a time when 35 million hungry and poor Europeans fled across the Atlantic to get a second chance, conquer gold and hunt the American dream.
Dark Noon is white facing, lawlessness, The Little House on the Prairie, whores, pickpockets and other good and bad things from the Wild West. Dark Noon is the relationship between the West and Africa turned inside-out and the audience never knows what to expect.
