Description

Outstanding dobble bill based on Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du Printemps.

Granhøj Dans has – as the first ever – been officially allowed to make pauses in the 33 min. long composition, creating in this way the first two 1-hour versions of the piece:

– RITE of SPRING – EXTENDED (male version).
7 men in rituals and ceremonies that transform boys into men.

– ROSE: Rite of Spring – Extended 2 (female version).
8 women in similar circumstances, this time with live grandpiano played by the young russian talent Maria Eshpay
