Sympathy for the Devil
Teater Får302Description
Gustav Gründgens is celebrating New Year’s Eve in Manila in the Philippines. The year is 1963. Gründgens, once admired and celebrated, is now washed-up, sunburned, humiliated and abandoned. The dream vacation with his young lover he imagined back home has been supplanted by emptiness and something reminiscent of a stay in Hell. His lover has left him and Manila is hot as Hell. Gründgens’ time has come to an end and his mask is put on one final time.
