The Smoker

Sound drama in the dark Teater Lux

Plays in Danish 6/6, 7/6, 8/6. In English 9/6 and 10/6. In the society of the future, tobacco smoking is prohibited, and it is mandatory by law that all people must have artificial lungs implanted. Tobacco smokers are just a saga, with the exception of Paulus, who has been absent from the mandatory lung transplant.
In order to continue smoking, he must find a human whose lungs he can transplant illegally
Wanted by law enforcement – and destroyed by COL – he flees to the Amazon rainforest to track down an indigenous people, the Cajun women. Paul falls in love with one of the women and “persuades” her to go home with him. At home, Paul faces the dilemma: love or tobacco smoke?
