6 Danish works from all genres of the performing arts – live or digital – will be elected by a jury for CPH STAGE’s Danish Showcase. The works will be presented during the festivals International Days 2. – 4. June 2021. These works will receive special promotion and get the opportunity to be seen by international guests, members of the Danish industry and the English-speaking audiences in Copenhagen.

This year we are aiming at creating a hybrid festival – that is a festival with both digital and live programming. The jury will favor applicants whose performances have premiered. However taking the Covid-19 situation in consideration the jury will remain open to emerging works.

CPH STAGE supports the selected performances by offering a subsidize for a maximum of 20,000 DKK (excl. VAT) per project. In case of one unique grand work the Jury will be able to grant up to 40.000 dkk (excl. vat). However, the festival does not provide fully financial support to said productions.

Please note that selected works for CPH STAGE’s Danish Showcase 2021 will be launched at a two-day virtual event 3. – 4. February 2021.
