These days radicalisation and extremism are topics that you can hardly avoid. These topics fill the pages of our newspapers as well as the speeches by our politicians. Often times they end up deciding the votes of our fellow citizens.
But what are radical opinions really? How does one get radicalised – and by whom? And why do we spend so much time talking about it?
Meet a diverse group of people who have this one thing in common – they have felt the effects of radicalisation in their own lives. Hear them tell the stories of marginalisation, about the extreme environments that most of us see but never truly experience – and about living in the grey zones of a democratic society.
