Moving Stories

KoDe8071

Description

This non-verbal, physical-musical theater is a story of those, who try to keep moving forward for a better life, and those who try to stop them from coming in.

It’s a collaboration between established Korean and Danish artists that aims to engage the audience in experimental ways. The audience will not be seated as usual, but have to move around in the space of the performance.

You will be nicely surprised to find a peculiar harmony in the meeting between two cultures; when Korean traditional music and Danish opera and folk music is being combined with physical actors and intriguing video projections. The story is loosely based on H.C. Andersen’s fairytale The Ugly Duckling
