Reading of Love/War

21st Century Strindberg? Betty Nansen Teatret

A deadly serious, relentless war of words! A reading from the play Love/War¸ based Ebba Witt-Bratström’s novel.
With actors Tina Gylling Mortensen and Søren Sætter Lassen on stage it is brutally daunting, but also grotesque and hilarious.

It was a scandal in Sweden when Ebba wrote the novel inspired by her divorce from Horace Engdahl, Secretary for the Nobel Prize Committee.
Truth or not, a long life’s love has turned into hatred. Weakness is exposed, venomous remarks are exchanged, despair and vulnerability are revealed.
It is hard times for equality!

A painful, but deliberate loss of love.

Performed in Danish.
