Six Copenhagen theatres and the KBHT (Det Københavnske Teatersamarbjede) are working with CPH STAGE to present THEATRE FOR ALL, a scheme designed to make Danish performance art accessible to a wider audience, including the hearing-Impaired and non-Danish speakers.

Subtitled performances:

REQUIEM at Betty Nansen Teatret

The play will be subtitled from the 30th of January – 24th of February
REQUIEM is a series of thought-provoking, poignant, and hilarious stories, based on Danish author Peer Hultberg’s novel. With humour and empathy, a group of Denmark’s finest actors will introduce you to feelings that we all experience, but few admit to: Hatred, jealousy, grievance, inferiority …
Meet the woman who finds her husband nothing but ridiculous. The guy who takes tables against civilization migraine. The litterbug, the diagnosis denier, the quiz-mouse and the office grumbler.

Underkastelse at Betty Nansen Teatret
The play will be subtitled from the 23th of March – 7th of April
A breathtaking monologue based on Michel Houellebecq’s provoking and entertaining novel about the social and moral downfall of the western world.
The play takes place in Paris 2022. François, a professor in literature, spends his time drinking, seducing the female students, eating TV dinners and watching YouPorn. Around him, society is changing, and François and all other Frenchmen must rethink their culture and dogmas.
