These are the people that will receive and carefully go through all the applications for the Open Call to CPH STAGEs International Days 2021.
Sarah Melin [SE]
Sarah Melin works as curator and producer for the Gothenburg Dance and Theater Festival and, currently in the fall of 2020 also at Dansens Hus in Stockholm. She has a long background in performing arts both nationally and internationally and has worked in several EU networks co-producing and supporting new art creation and emerging artist. Sarah has a background in theatre history, is a trained project manager and has previously worked as a performing arts producer, dance consultant and programmer.
Liv Helm [DK]
Liv Helm is an award-winning Danish stage director. She graduated The Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2015. Still a student she founded HAUT which organizes residencies for emerging artists in performing arts. Her work has been awarded Teaterkatten in 2016 and the annual honor by the Danish Arts Council in 2017 and 2019. Newly she has been appointed artistic leader at Husets Teater in Copenhagen.
Miriam Frandsen [DK]
Miriam Frandsen has worked as a freelance dramaturge since 1995 and the last four years at The Royal Danish Theatre. She is now working in the span from dramaturgical consulting at musicals to very experimental interdisciplinary interactive performances. She has been involved in the curating of the international opening performance at CPH STAGE since 2016 and also works as creative producer at Travers confront the future at CC, 2021 and has a huge international network.
Karen Toftegaard [DK]
Karen Toftegaard has been a cultural entrepreneur in Copenhagen for 15+ years, developing cultural events, festivals and an award-winning outdoor gallery. In a period of 7 years Karen worked at the theatres Camp X and Republique in Copenhagen. Today Karen is the founding director of a PR company and of the international strategy and promotion company WILDTOPIA. Since 2017 she has lead the creation of the international days at CPH STAGE, Denmark`s annual festival for performing arts. In 2018 she initiated the first Nordic collaboration at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
