10 days of non-stop theatre is great, but it can get expensive if you have to pay full price for all theatre tickets. Here is our guide on how to go festival frenzy without breaking the bank. Most theatres playing during the festival are part of a ticketing scheme that offers various discounts. Be aware, however, that not all of them do.
If you are under 25, you can get up to DKK 100 discount. The Royal Theatre is not part of the festival's discount schemes, but in return they have a fantastic offer for young people under 25 years old, who for just DKK 99 / per month can experience all their performances. Read more HERE.
It is also possible to buy group tickets. If you are a group of six people under the age of 25, you can buy young group tickets for as little as DKK 50-75 per ticket. If you are a group of 10 people over the age of 25, you get a min. DKK 40 discount on group tickets.
If you have an annual pass to a theater with shows playing during the festival, it probably also applies to the festival performances, but please check with the theater.
GROUP TOURS
CPH STAGE is happy to arrange group tours for companies, associations, folk high schools, etc. If you would like to bring your workplace together for a joint trip to the theater during the festival, we can help you with navigating the program, and we can also book your tickets. As a group, you also get a discount of DKK 40 per ticket.
MY THEATRE
Teaterbilletter.dk has the membership club 'Mit Teater' and 'Mit Teater Studerende', which triggers ticket discounts. You can of course use your membership here on our website when you buy tickets. If you have not yet signed one, you can read about the benefits of it below.
There are three different ways to become a club member. What they all have in common is that you will have access to an unlimited number of discounted tickets per performance. Membership is valid from the date of registration and for one year.
Buy tickets for three shows at once and become a free member. Remember that you must opt for free membership of the club on the date you buy tickets for three performances. Use the ticket type 'Mit Teater'.
Buy a membership and get an instant discount: If you do not want to buy tickets for three shows at once, membership costs DKK 100 per year. Use the ticket type 'Mit Teater'.
Become a free member of Mit Teater Studerende: The theater club for students with a student card. Ticket discounts are the same as with 'Mit Teater'. Use the ticket type 'Mit Teater Studerende'.
