BLUE SNOW & BIRD WOMAN. Two Greenlandic monologues for women

"BLUE SNOW" follows a young Inuit woman living in Copenhagen as she navigates racism, vulnerability, and the complexity of existing in two cultures. Through a language that moves between the poetic and the raw, she gradually comes to recognize and embrace her own essence and identity. The piece invites to reflect on forgiveness: must cruelty be answered likewise, or can understanding and insight open new paths?

"BIRD WOMAN" is a lyrical portrait of the Inuit spirit, moving freely through time and memory. The woman at its center embodies both the timeless Inuit spirit and the contemporary Inuit woman, carrying the weight of loss and struggle alongside tenderness and love. The performance explores what it means to meet the world with openness and trust rather than fear, and the power of listening to and reclaiming one’s spirit.

Both performances are a mix of Greenlandic storytelling techniques and Westernized character work.
