How do you transform a chilling novel into living theatre? And why is “Ice" by Anna Kavan so disturbingly relevant today?
“Ice" is an apocalyptic fever dream: a climate catastrophe, a psychological thriller, and an exploration of power and collapse. Now, the Main Library revisits the novel together with its Danish publisher and translator, Lasse Skjold Bertelsen, and playwright Amanda Ginman, who has contributed to adapting the novel’s universe for the performance “ICE NIGHTS" at Sydhavn Teater.
