CPH STAGE is looking for an engaged and creative Digital Content Editor who can turn performing arts into compelling content. You will be responsible for the festival’s social media channels and play a central role in creating awareness and engagement through targeted communication and creative campaigns.
You will lead and develop our social media presence from ideation and planning through to production, advertising and evaluation. At the same time, you will be part of a collaborative communications team and an organisation where we work closely across disciplines.
We are looking for someone who loves social media, understands different audiences and is curious about how digital storytelling can bring the performing arts closer to audiences.
You must be fluent in Danish and have good English language skills. Experience in the cultural sector is an advantage, but not a requirement. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about communicating the performing arts to a broad audience.
All tasks will be carried out in close dialogue with the Head of Communications and the wider team. At the same time, you will have plenty of freedom to develop new ideas, test formats and put your own stamp on the festival’s digital communications.
Organising a festival is a team effort, and at our small festival office we work closely together to create the best possible conditions for the festival, our audiences and each other.
The organisation grows as the festival approaches, and we actively work to ensure that everyone feels part of the team. Some of us have worked in theatre and the performing arts for many years, while others are newer to the sector. We value both perspectives.
There are periods when we are very busy and the pace is high. In return, we place great importance on creating a working environment characterised by trust, collaboration and realistic expectations. We hope you would like to be part of that.
CPH STAGE is a theatre festival in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg that fills the city with Danish and international performing arts experiences every year.
The festival programme features more than 80 performances, events and industry events, bringing together audiences, artists and performing arts professionals from Denmark and abroad. CPH STAGE has been running since 2013, and in 2027 the festival will take place from June 2–12.
The position is scheduled to start on November 1 (or as soon as possible thereafter) and run until the end of June 2027. Working hours will be arranged as follows: in November and December, you will be employed part-time for 25 hours per week; from January 1 to June 30, the position will be full-time.
We will be inviting candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis and will close applications once we have found the right candidate.
CPH STAGE is committed to promoting equality and diversity in the sector. We therefore encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion or age.
