"EX MACHINA" is a performance event presenting four works that explore the entanglement of the human body with technology. Through machines, circuits, codes, and algorithms, the performances examine how identity, function, and agency are stretched, disrupted, and reconfigured through Body/Tech interaction. Rather than invoking a deus ex machina, "EX MACHINA" embraces interruption and unpredictability as artistic strategies.
Drawing on transhumanist thought and Donna Haraway’s cyborg theory, performance is understood as a practice of becoming-with technology. The human is approached not as an isolated subject, but as a hybrid, relational entity embedded in nonhuman systems.
