In a small town in central Jutland, you have to be content, be humble and quiet. But the priest's son, Peter Andreas Sidenius, feels that he is made to change the world. From now on, he will call himself 'Per'. He will create amazing power engines fueled by natural forces, by water and wind, to change and save the world as it is known.
The performance brings the literary language to life and invites the audience into the story by asking them to lay bodies for several of the crucial characters in the story - even Per. “Lykke-Per” is an incredible tale of wanting to succeed in life – to wriggle free of life's straitjacket, to go to the extreme and... succeed without losing yourself?
