FÆDRE OG SØNNER

In the Danish integration debate, men from minority backgrounds are often talked about — but rarely with. Fathers in particular remain a blind spot. They are reduced to stereotypes about absence, control or patriarchal norms, while their own experiences, vulnerabilities and hopes are rarely given a place in public.

It is precisely these voices that are now appearing in C:NTACT's new performance “FÆDRE OG SØNNER”. Here fathers and sons take to the stage with their own stories of relationships, responsibility, love, failure, pride and finding one's place — both in the family and in society.
