Now we can finally unveil our most ambitious event programme to date, and we've been looking forward to it. Among other things, we invite you inside for deep conversations, sex-positive messages and morning gymnastics with a sea view. Not only is the festival program full of events, several of them are even completely free.

We will guide you through the selection of the event programme below.

SEX IN PERFORMING ARTS AND IVAN$ITO ON OFELIA PLACE

In the Royal Danish Playhouse we are transforming the foyer into a festival centre, and together with the Royal Danish Theatre we have developed a series of events that range widely and break norms.

You can, among other things, experience the event BANGING ON STAGE, in which host couple Barbara Nyholm and Camilla Boraghi (both known from DR) pose sharply on sex in the performing arts. Humorously, they dissect iconic love relationships and sex scenes in theatre together with director Johan Klint Sandberg.

If you are into big live experiences, we have also made sure that the reggaeton singer Ivan$ito occupies Ofelia Square. With roots in Chile, he takes in his live performance audience to the global south in the Danish summer evening.

During the event UKØN PRESENTS SURGING VOICES we invite you to an evening of music, drag artistry and spoken word, specially curated by the queer platform for performing arts, UKØN. Over the topic WAVES they present an extravagant, poetic and experimental show that highlights the fluidity of life.

FROM BRITNEY TO FAITH AND ETHICS

Of course, we cannot hold a festival without giving way to Britney Spears, and in connection with the successful performance WORK BITCH playing during the festival, we can invite you to the cultural house Absalon for a spin Britney Banko. There will be theatre tickets and quirky theatre props up for grabs.

WORK BITCH's very big theme about the performance society is also highlighted by a talk after the performance at the Edison. Here, director Niels Erling, screenwriter Ida Marie Hede and writer and work consultant Pernille Garde Abildgaard will talk about how the performance society invites us to run faster while the feeling of inadequacy grows.

The major social themes continue in Christianskirken in connection with the performance of Hotel Pro Forma AMDUAT. EN ILTMASKINE Here, actress Rosalinde Mynster will talk with art historian and writer Trine Ross about how death and grief affect people and how these experiences are expressed artistically.

Both talks are moderated by journalist Iben Maria Zeuthen and created in collaboration with FOF Copenhagen.

We look forward to meeting you out in the festival landscape, and we look forward to sharing even more festival news with you.
